Also John Rech from T42 who is promoting the Luxembourg gig in the Atelier has sent me this -
"For the Luxembourg gig, I offer a 100 LUF discount to Company members. I offer this on a personal level (and from by personal budget) to thank you and the company for the warm welcome they offer T42 every time. Hope this is ok for you.
The gig take place on May 7, 2001. Normal ticket price is (890 LUF - 44.5 DM). Normal tickets can be booked on www.sound.lu
Company members will get a 100 LUF (5 DM) discount (max. 2 tickets). To profit from this offer, members just have to send me an email at johnrech at usa.net
- Could you put this offer in one of your emails. As well as a hint to the
"T42 & friends album" available at www.sound.lu"
This album is a very limited edition of a festival in Dudelange Luxembourg recorded last year. It's worthwhile checking out the site for details. For the record I sing 'The Company' and 'Broomielaw' on the album.
Fellini Days is on schedule and we should have it at the Dalkeith show (which has only 20 tickets left) with a 3 track radio edit CD available for promotion purposes in mid April. 'Sashimi' comes out in 3 weeks.
Finally I can officially announce the Company Convention in Haddington on the 25th and 26th August. As 2 years ago I will be playing an acoustic set in St Mary's church on the Saturday with the main Electric set on the Sunday. Special guests will be appearing and as always there will be a party after the Sunday show. More details including ticket prices etc will be announced later this month as the plan is to offer special laminated tickets for the weekend activities. Tickets will go on sale in April. For those of you travelling distances and wanting to book flights, hotels etc you can rest assured that these dates are confirmed.
The gigs are part of the Haddington Music Festival which will be featuring other bands all week. For those of you coming over for a holiday it's the perfect time to visit Edinburgh as the Festival there is in full swing.
I hope this inspires many of you to come over and join us this year as the Sunday night is the official re-opening of the renovated Corn Exchange. It would be great for the International Companies to turn out in force! :-)
more details on venues and tickets etc will be posted on the website in the future.
until next time
lots of love
an about to become very exhausted
