How to change your username and password

Wed Dec 10, 2008 7:32 pm

When you're logged in, click the "Your profile" tab at the top (opening it in a new browser tab is useful so that you can continue to read this), then click the "Profile" tab below, choose "Edit account settings" from the side bar and you can type in a new Username. As long as the name isn't already taken (or is reserved) it should change immediately right across the forum.

Now fill in the "New password:" box if you need to - you'll have to do this twice.

Delete the contents of the "Confirm e-mail address:" box and fill in "Current password:" and then click the "Submit" button.

Voila! :hatoff:

... I take it this is now out of date Mo? Can user names still be changed?

Ah, this is a little out of date now to prevent the mad username changing of '10.

If you do need to change your username for a sensible reason though, just drop a PM to one of the Union Team and we'll sort you out. And change your username. Maybe.
