Hello guys! :)

Almost a year after my confessions of a lifetime (well... let's say, half of it, really) in this topic, today i returned to salute you all, and Arcade in particular (he deserves it, you know), and to see how Fish is doing. I already saw that he's still doing some gigs, and working on a new record, and that's great! He's still very active, good news!

Well, as you may remember, i'm portuguese, i live in Portugal, and life in Portugal turned for the worst, specially since last year. According to Moody's ratings, nowadays i live in a garbage can, and we, as a country, lost the ability of making our own decisions. The IMF, the ECB, and fraulein Merkel give the orders, and we have no other option but to obey. Life is very hard around here, taxes are up more than 20% in general, since last year, unemployment rising fast, people depressed and with no money even to eat properly. I'm quite sad with what is happening to us... ; anyway, a big hug for you all, and see you around!
Thanked: 2

Nice to welcome you back Mr Freak! :D It's been a long time with much water under the bridge. - The last time you posted, I was still producing my own melanin.

Sorry to hear that your country is in a bad way. If it's any consolation, mine has pretty much gone to the dogs as well!

Always you, great Arcade! 8-) By now, i think you should be the true "ex-libris" of this forum. Unreplaceable!

Yes, i know that England is starting to feel the first sintoms of the huge financial, economical, and even ideological deseases that are spreading throughout Europe. But you are still very far from the misery we are living here, nowadays. Imagine how you can live with a monthly salary of 440 £ (it's the oficial minimum wage), pay half of it in a wide range of taxes, and with what's left, buy food, clothes, energy and everything else at prices that are generally higher than in the rest of Europe. We are somewhat near the general depression that Ireland is living, too. When i say people are starting to starve, i meant it. This is getting frighteningly serious.
