I second that! High time he returns to the fold in writing and performing!

From the latest FB posting there's no mention of Mickey being involved in the upcoming sessions, but great to see the timeline mapped out to year -end.

One of the tracks has to be a Genesis influenced "Return of the Giant Tumbleweed"

God forbid! Don't encourge them Andy!

Well not a writing partner as such but great to see on FB the old rhythm section of Steve V and Squeaky Stweart will be reunited for the studio recordings

Interesting. Is Gav not available, or is he no longer part of the set-up? Maybe he is only the 'live' drummer now...
So the recording band is going to be rather different to the live outfit? Gav Dickie for Steve Vantsis as well? I'm getting very confused now...

Listened to it on you tube, although it didn't do anything for me either, i remember talking to a dutch guy at my hotel at the convention, and we got into talking about Fish/marillion but when i said i wasn't keen on the marill stuff the guy went into a huff and went all quiet, needless to say he didn't speak to me again
Thanked: 1

Can't believe that Rab!
Anyway, back on topic, I'm more expectant than ever that this new album will deliver some great tracks after the preview we had at Lemmers. Sounds like it might be an album of individual and separate themes, rather than an entire concept piece like 13th Star. - Nothing wrong with that if the songs are of a high standard.
