And things that Fish always wanted to answer!

Vigil In A Wilderness of Mirrors

My questions to Fish are...

1. What was the proposed name(s) of the follow-up album to CAS?

2. Why have you still not come forward and deciphered those "lost album" lyrics? I am yet to find a totally accurate and satisfactory transcription of these lyrics.

For example: Voice In The Crowd - 2nd verse

You came upon an asprin????
Just an alibi
If you have to go and do it,
do you feel you want to try
If you could only see the reason like another movie???????
And then someone came, someone rose, someone left
I don't know if you could be sure, could you understand?
and if the days were good, you never know the ways we planned
and if the timing's there, it's heaven sent, centering,
voice in the crowd.
A voice in the crowd.

And especially Prices On Exile Street!!! I'd love to know. I'm a sucker for the written word.

For me the title was "Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors"

I haven't "deciphered" those lyrics because they weren't finished and became other things more relevant. I've no interest in transcribing them. They were "jammed" over the music.

hope that helps :-)

When I first heard this song, I was younger and searching for truth. Between the bop and the mostly meaningless rock at the time, this song hit me hard in my heart. It was as clear as the morning dew and my chest swelled with understanding, and the fact that I knew I wasn't alone.

Why am I writing this now? Because this is now.
