Limericks!

hello everyone. having partisipated in the 3 word never ending story, it seems to be loosing its oomph so i thot, why not start something else!! LIMMERICKS!!!! . THE USUAL 5 LINES, RHYMING IF POSS. was thinking along these lines
There was a young man from Haddington.... but not sure if that works! or
There was a young man fron Dalkieth..... same thing there!! so
There was a young man who wrote songs........ OR
There was a young man called BOB..... Any takers????? :D :D

The second line was okay, but it could have done without 'absolutely'. Again, too long for a limerick. :D

Come on guys ! You try learning the nuances of a limerick when English is your second language.

I had a much ruder one lined up but Zazabi was being too nice to you !

Arcade rhymed nicely with Laid and Spayed ;) You should be pleased you ended up with Marmalade.

And surely you shouldnt be allowed to contribute to a limerick about you. Tut tut :o

We wasn't being nasty to Zaz! - The Comment was tongue-in-cheek. It was a good limerick! :lol:

Anyway, thought you'd stopped being rude about me! :lol: :lol: Marmalade was a better option.
