Autumn half term in Scotland is generally a week before most of England (though England is split over a couple of weeks) due to their term starting 2 weeks earlier.

ELDC website states Half term is 15.10-27.10.10....

Yes, also remember that half term is 2 weeks in Scotland and just 1 week in England.

not in every district..... local holidays earlier int he year for festivals often mean half term in Autumn is just one week...

Fish - you're a star ! - Sept was a no no for us - but Oct half term is a goer ! - our dates (down in Essex) are 23rd to 31st October.
