If someone can find out the English mid terms then we will do our best to aim for then as the Scots have less distance to travel for the weekend,

if it's the end of October then it should fall clear of the German dates,

after that it's down to availability on St Marys,

hear from you soon

Sat 23rd through to Sunday 31st = Half term in England - CONFIRMED. Don't do 31st as we'd never get back home in time !

Either of those would be brilliant and superb :D

I feel a 414 mile round trip coming on.

Chris, The Company Yorkshire will have to get together and discuss our travel mplans for this one !

:)

Sounds like a plan.
Car share up the A1. Stop off at our kids in Richmond en route would work well.
We'll sort this once dates confirmed.

Yup - but those Kent dates are slightly wrong... Unless you go to school on a Saturday. But it's similar to the above.

I usually find that Yorkshire's are a week ahead of ours.

Either way - it's a bugger of a trek to squeeze in a single weekend. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's do-able. Fish, if you could send an email to my wife explaining why it's vitally important for me to be there - I think the probability of me being there is increased ten-fold. Just PM me and I'll send you the address :)

I've never missed a trek up to Haddington, all the years my 3 were growing up we always managed to sort something out, it has to be done, mind you, I'm a Freak !! :-)

You're also about a 5 hour drive closer than I am, which certainly factors into it :)
We might have kick-arse beaches down here - but getting to decent gigs is a nightmare, nevermind seeing Fish in Hadders.

You could stop off at ours for a breather on the way :-)

I tell you what - if I do it I'll take you up on that! :)

But seriously, it comes down to how long I'm away for which becomes a hard sell.

BTW - I love roasts or lasagne ;)
