The idea of a meet on the Friday at a pub is a good way to meet the Company and a chance to meet new people, last time is where I met now a good friend JimB, Acoustic or Electric gigs whichever the big man chooses will be great, also it would be nice to have the new album played perhaps in the afternoon with a signing session afterwards

Let's hope there will be other opportunities beside Friday night for drinks and meetings. We'll only get there Saturday lunch time! :) ;)

ELECTRIC/ACOUSTIC THING
I totally understand why people are asking for 2 electric nights. Following the recent lengthy acoustic tour my ideal would be 2 electric nights and a shorter acoustic set on the Saturday afternoon but obviosuly that might be asking a bit too much??

I agree with some of you that Sunday nights are always much more low key. Less booze drunk coz people are driving home and everyone is exhausted after a full on weekend. The atmosphere is very different. I'm worried that an acoustic night on the Satruday would be ruined by background niose from boozers/people really excited! Saturday night always works best as party night and then Sunday night is much lower key! The acoustic sets are amazing regarding atmosphere but I always enjoy them MUCH more (having been to a fair few on the tour) when the crowd are quiet and attentive otherwise the moment gets lost....and on a Saturday night at a convention this is very unlikely to be the case. I do agree that usually the most exciting set should be left til the end of the convention but there is no reason why an acoustic set can't end with an emotional Sugar Mice and uplifting loud action filled rendition of the company!??? :P

SAUSAGE
Yes please....A big one with tomato sauce.....oh sorry.....um.....The Sausuage was far too small (yes I am talking about the venue now). It's all very well being out in the courtyard but many of us had to be out on the road and ofcourse it was August that time not October.

NEW ALBUM
I agree with several of you....I really struggle when there are a LOT of new songs from an album that we have never heard before which means that I don't enjoy the gig nearly as much and the atmosphere can be affected. I think either an afternoon launch with a hand full of songs and some stories to go with them would be fab, or 2 or 3 songs mixed in with old songs in the electric set(s).

All just my opinion of course :-)
