Brilliant! - A lesson for us all. Treat every gig like a convention! - I know it's been said elsewhere, but Edders felt a bit more special than just an ordinary gig.- What a weekend that was! ;) :D

:stop: :keep_order: :secret: Remember, we're not allowed to call it a "convention" though... ;)

OK, dumb question coming up: Why not? :?

Who cares? It's only a word. - I'll be a happy man if those convention gigs are anywhere near as good as Edinburgh. :D

I think the point is that a convention is less about the gigs and more about thge company.
I remember Derek standing in the Poldrate centre yard doing an introduction speech to one of the conventions and describing it as a weekend with friends with a couple of gigs thrown in as a bonus :)

Thats brill tosh like that quote a weekend with friends with a couple of gigs thrown in. An honest and friendly statement from the bigman, makes me feel a bit more at ease, and that everyone and anyone is approachable. Also alan, I too lost my way after split from marillion then been through the mill so to speak regards relationships work etc....really lookin forward to my first convention and finally meeting up with all you guys n gals from the forun and in the company. Roll on lemmers! :D

It'll be my second convention.
I was in Haddington 2006 (and missed my mother 60th birthday , because I missed to check the date first). Couldn't be in Leamington 2009 because of my cousins wedding-eve party. And this time it's just a few days before my birthday :D . Somehow all conventions are near to an event in my family  .

Although Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, it is not the hottest - as its small size means that it has insufficient gravity to form an atmosphere, therefore lacking a greenhouse effect. Having said that, the temperature change between day and night is around 500 Kelvin. Liquid water cannot exist, so life (as we know it) would be impossible...

Is that what you meant? :?
