Train for me! Havent booked anything yet. Book in july. Enquired about a month ago and ticket office told me i would probably be better off getting 2 singles down(me and michelle) and the same return as they said this would probably work out a lot cheaper :D ,than the full package booked as one 3 months in advance which was(£120 each return).

Driving up from Bedford on Saturdy morning (with a stop off for a light breakfast en route). No other options unless I want to do multiple changes on buses/trains.

The convention falls at the busiest time of the year for me and I may well have to be at work at 6am on the Monday morning so I have to either think about leaving early or find a way back after Sunday's show.

Hi! I'm Ivo and i'm a huge fan from Holland. I'm just 18 years old and i will be at the convention in October with a friend of mine.
I was wondering if there are any other dutch fans are going to the convention? What is there "travel plan"?

Enquired about trains today and was told that timetables only go thirteen weeks ahead, so no tickets yet. Don't know whether this is the norm, as it's been years since I've been on a train! ;)

Looked at this Saturday for comparison, and the first train leaves Warrington at 10:35am, with a change at Wolverhampton, arriving at LS for about 12:40. - If it's the same in October, may well have to forget about making the acoustic gig on Saturday afternoon. :(

Lucky you! Very nice of Alan. :D - With regards to myself Rab, we have a car, but had it in mind to go by train, as Debs doesn't like the thought of driving in that direction ie: Birmingham/Wolverhampton! This is despite the fact she got us to Edders no problem! - Anyway, have to respect her wishes. - We'll see. Might set out three days early and walk. ;)
Thanked: 2

Gotta say that I completely understand her feelings.
