Just come back from a wonderful BBQ at my favourite country pub, The Sandpiper in Ormskirk, Lancs. - So lovely to sit outside in HOT SUNSHINE! - My neck and arms are now lobster pink and my face probably looks like a sundried tomato, but who cares?!

Sounds like you have been doing an impression of a raspberry ripple !

We even had all our meals outside in the garden today. cant remember when we last did that.
Summer is here at last.

Last night - courgettes stuffed with bacon, pecan nuts, breadcrumbs, onion etc....

Lunchtime - Courgette and pasta soup

Tonight - Ham and courgette gratin with new potatoes unearthed just 15 minutes ago.

Tomorrow morning I will probably be having courgettes on my crunchy nut cornflakes !!!!!!!

Trying something new with our courgettes... stew with courgettes, tinned tomatoes, aubergines, onions, carrots, spices and sausage meat.

Probably accompanied by boiled potatoes with butter and parsley.

I don't know about tonight, but I am about to go to brunch, which given the time is more like lunch. I hope it is good!! I am now in Zurich, which looks like a beautiful city thus far.

I am so hungry, but must wait for my friend to be ready.

Zürich is beautiful. I hope you have found a restaurant at the lake and you have had a nice meal!

I agree on the expensive, but I still think it is beautiful. All our meals were taken in Migros (the supermarket) for the most part.

Tonight we decided to have a proper dinner (I am now in the Swiss alps), so I had salmon with caponata and crushed creamy potatoes. It was delicious. Sinfully good. Tomorrow, it is back to the cheap stuff.
