Chicken in tomato and basil sauce, with deep fried potato wedges, along with sage and onion potato mash and beetroot

Thats an interesting combination ? Obviously a scottish speciality !

I was a bit concerned about the "deep fried" part of it. Fortunately it wasnt followed by the words "Mars bar" !!!!!

Cranachan - with rich tayside raspberries, cream from border herds fed on the best grass in the world, a splash of heathery malt whisky from the glens of the mighty Spey, unctuous honey from tartan bees, toasted Aberfeldy oatmeal. A rare-cooked sirloin of Aberdeen Angus beef served with twice-cooked chips made from Arran Victory potatoes deep-fried in Scottish beef dripping.... Hand-dived scallops from the cool, crystalline lochs of the West Highlands.... Need I say more?

Besides - everyone knows that in Scotland it could only be deep fried Stoats Porridge bars!!!
