Don't know if anyone noticed last night, but there were about 25 guests on here at one spell. - How many of those were English teachers?!

I'm still here! Just been a bit quiet as I've been ridiculously busy this last couple of weeks with schoolwork and the garden... (Cue sarky comments...
One day, I might even finish my "Ultimate Fish CD"...

You are right Geoff- you never know when something is going to come along and hit you for 6-the weekend before I was in Scotland, having a ball-then, all this--at least I have no regrets- I moan at him,but for his own good- but, at least all was ok between us. But,yes, you never know whats round the corner--- worth bearing in mind for everyone.xx He is asleep, but fighting , for me, is hard-- and I keep getting this little devil whispering in my ear-and I cant shrug him off-xx
As soon as you realise, I'm perfectly happy, if I'm left to decide the company I choose.

Re: General Chat Thread
Ah well, we've had a very busy weekend (and last week end) putting our raised beds up, digging, measuring, hammering, screwing, aching, and a few blisters later, we feel like we've achieved something good!
Next step...fiiling them up with some soil...
We found 20 minutes yesterday to go for a cycle ride (TNN got me a bike for my B-day
that's the nice thing about living in the Countryside
you just have to open the door...and it's there!
And to end up the day we went to see the Waterboys at the Hammersmith Odeon, what an awesome concert, it was brilliant, great performance by Mike Scott, great band, extra brilliant fiddle player. I think I could have well stayed there for another couple of hours!
They did a two set concert, with the first part performing oldies, and the second part playing most tracks from 'An appointment with Mr Yates'.
Absolutely brilliant.
I have enjoyed both sets as much even though I only knew a couple of songs from the first set.
So, busy but great weekend.

No sarky comments here Geoff
Having a minute with a glass of apple juice, before going off on a stroll down by the canal, in T-shirt I might add!

Shame it had to end
Watreboys were brilliant especially the encores including Dont Bang the Drum, Whole of the Moon and Fisherman's Blues. This was teh 4th time I have seen the Waterboys . First saw them as lets hisunknowns supporting U2 on their Unforgettable Fire tour and they blew me away. Mike Scott is just brilliant. Great musician and singer. Lots of charisma. And his band are brilliant especially Steve Wickham who is one of the best musicians I have ever seen and heard. Simply awesome. They are playing all over the UK so go and see them if you can.
