:bye:

Where do you do your meditation when you're in the UK PF? In a darkened room? :?

Quite dark here in Great Yarmouth
But why does one need a dark room please :?

Just got my suitcase - poor deliveryguy... probly came all the way from Cromer and Kings Lynn where he started his tour. He said it felt weird to knock on the door at a private place so late. Anyway I am happy :D

Great news, that you got your cases tanja! Enjoy the rest of your hols! :)

Thank you two - Chris was going like: you as a Buddhist should not be attached to your belongings. But I am and that is not the point - point was to realise that it made me feel slightly unrelaxed not to know where it was. I do not have too many things and most of them were in that suitcase. So I can work with that feeling ;)
Actually the weekend ended great yesterday with a bbq in a caravan park. Met lots of other English people and being asked if there was a huge difference to home I noticed: no - it was like meeting friends at home - lovely! :D up for more holiday fun today :D

I am probably as un-buddhist as they get, when it comes to attachment to possessions. I only let go of them when I have no room to store them anymore...

I'm certainly no Buddhist, but de-cluttering is good for the soul. - Spent the whole day clearing out the attic. Thrown away at least ten bin-sacks worth of junk, from dis-used telescopes, to old embarrassing school books, to pairs of jeans I can hardly put my leg through, nevermind get over my fat arse. Honestly don't know why I saved most of it in the first place.

I'm guessing I now feel like Frodo did, having chucked his ring in the Crack Of Doom, albeit more out-of-pocket because he didn't have to hire a skip.
I realise I hold the key to freedom. I cannot let my life be ruled by the bloody threads on this Forum.

I wouldn't say i am a buddhist either with regards to holding on to possessions. Albeit i do have a lot of early marillion stuff like mag and newspaper clippings as well as 6'ft Promotional posters which i would never let go ( at least not just now!)
Most of my excess baggage so to speak has been chucked out a long time ago, i always try and have a clearout at least once a year! :)

How's the finger? ;)
I did plan to go to a car boot sale to sell a few things - after having started to sort through my stuff I ended up with a car completely full (not a Mini) :o Was a good feeling but due to the bad weather at home I have to wait for September to actually get there. Stored the books and clothes and other things in the staircase hall and need to get rid of them. Fingers crossed for a golden September.

I think today is going to be a de-cluttering day, since it is kind of grey and rainy anyway.
