with Oceanborn and Angels you are stepping back into the Tarja days... much more operatic, less symphonic.... equally as powerful, but Tarja's powerful operatic voice limited the band to the variety of music they could deliver.... but still blooming brilliant...

I liked the song snippets on amazon a little bit more than from the later albums. Let's see how it works.

i recommend them all, I was only pointing out the big difference within them that often become a surprise to the newly initiated..


anyway, I'm playing Kathyrn Tickell's Deabeable Lands, from 1998 , featuring Troy Donockley ( the 6th member of Nightwidh) on Uillean pipes on a couple of tracks complementing Kathryn on the Northumbrian pipes..... and its jolly fab..
