OMG,
As Docbob say, we have all been a child at a time, but...
Just imagine you take the train to cross your country for your work, and that train stop in a famous station at the end of the day ... Marne-La-Vallée... Euro disney...
Tens of children... :|
You could take a deep breath, meditate, take your book, and forget the noise :smoke: , but this day is marked in black, you feel it, you don't know why... :?
And the train suddenly stops.. No railway station there, just trees, green grass, and cows around... :o
You listen to the kind guy who take his microphone, and explain you "it won't be long"....
And then the night comes, and the train don't move... during much more than one hour :? ... And the children excited after their day in the "mouse land", are there, around you...
And it's black outside, and the children are more and more excited... :girl_fish:
And suddendly, the light is off in all the train... :| :swoon: :wacko2: A little girl stuck in the toilets, screaming... ...

And you finally arrive in Poitiers, late, very very late... and you are exhausted... And the car rental is closed.... :girl_devil: :girl_cry:

A bad memory, just as Docbob planes...

Inconsiderate buggers who use the last of the toilet paper and don't put on a fresh roll, leaving the following toilet user without the means of wiping their nether regions. Admittedly, the following user should check that there is ample supply, but that's besides the point.

This happened to me the other day, but luckily the house was empty, so I was able to shuffle, with pants around ankles, to the cupboard in the spare room where we keep our loo rolls, all the while hoping that the window cleaner was still at the front of the house and hadn't moved onto the side windows.

Right, great problem! Best idea is to keep the loo rolls in the room where the loo is ;) ! At my home the loo rolls are behind the bathroom door, so a short way to "go" :D .

This has occurred to us Ulli, but it's a very small bathroom with very limited storage space ;) .

Honestly, at home do you really not notice the shortness and have a replacement to hand? Very unaware!
As for if it is in a "public" facility, those 10 pack handy pocket tissues are a great standby!!

You owned a leasehold flat, had to move for work, rented in new venue, tried to sell the one you owned. Dodgy gutters, damp, mould, try to get sorted, insurance etc. Lose several "K". Now in flat you rent find gutters start leaking. Advise landlord/letting agent. six months later still niagara out of gutter!!
Oh well, despite advice not my walls getting damp, (until it affects me inside the flat!)

When you're registered as looking for work, but you make it clear you are currently employed, and are asked to state your contact preferences. You state "by email" because you're obviously working and can't take calls about other employment opportunities - yet they STILL ring you! And they leave a message asking you to ring them back during office hours! :-x Now it's not so much the fact that they ring, it's the fact they've asked for contact preferences and then simply ignore it!!
By the time I've learnt everything I need to know, it'll be too late ...........
