Have met Mr Zaz a few times. He is holding a dinner party for us and he is a chef so I'm looking forward to it

To be honest, I'm reasonably OK with crowds as long as I have sorted out my 'exit strategy'! . It's Dodge who isn't keen, but this festival is relatively small, a very friendly, relaxed, no trouble from the "rent-a-mob" affair. In all the years we have been going [around 5 now], it has always been brilliantly organised; lots of nice stewards to keep things flowing smoothly and provide info, and everybody who is there is there for the music so the atmosphere is really "one big happy family" [probably similar to The Fish Conventions from what the Vets on here have said].

Drunken behaviour is always gently stewed rather than all-out anti-social stuff, no drug problems, everyone just seems chilled or on a natural high from the music. There are also several 'quiet areas' where you can retire from the hubbub if you need time out, so that suits us very well.

Highly recommended - hosted by Oysterband and they handpick the other bands so it's always top toons and interesting bands..
