Yes. Jigsaw would be my Marillion song to be marooned with on a desert island (assuming i could play it of course!). - Maybe we could start another thread, 'Desert island Marillion song'. - That said, i suppose you'd get sick of anything if you played it too much. - Variety is the spice of life and all that.
I realise I hold the key to freedom. I cannot let my life be ruled by the bloody threads on this Forum.

I generally agree, about the getting tired thing, but perhaps there are a few exceptions. There are songs I have heard countless times, and I still have not tired of them. I have been listening to Misplaced Childhood on my car, for about 3 weeks now, non-stop. And still have not found the need to change it :P

How about, songs you cannot live without? Or songs that changed your life?
Or songs that made you stop whatever it was you were doing, and pay real close attention?

Here is a list of 10 songs that fit the descriptions above (and there are so many more...)

Here comes the flood - Peter Gabriel
Blind Curve - Marillion
Black - Pearl Jam
Epitaph - King Crimson
Ana Na ming - Salif Keita
Under Pressure - Queen
Nutshell - Alice in Chains
Hurt - Nine Inch Nails
Country Feedback - REM
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd

This would make a great thread! - I could spend a good few hours thinking of my list, but on the spare of the moment, i would probably say (and in no particular order):

Jigsaw - Marillion
Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks
Little Green (or any of the Blue album!) - Joni Mitchell
Find the river - REM
Homeless Brother (pure poetry set to music) - Don McLean
Oliver's Army - Elvis Costello
Enough to be on your way - James Taylor
What's going on - Marvin Gaye
Portrait of my love - Matt Monro
Born to run - Bruce Springsteen

- Very eclectic i've no doubt, but i like what i like!
