Welcome back, and thanks for taking the time to post out that long reply.
You make some valid points. Perceptions do vary from person to person, and different people might feel differently about different things. I guess this thread might be an example of that!

Slightly off topic, I know, but I was reading some of the stuff on his Facebook page (not the Fish one, but the other one that you aren't allowed to comment on, but you can read) and have to say it creased me up. Some of the stories of his exploits in Norway over the last few days are hilarious

What do you mean "you aren't allowed to comment on"? Quite a lot of us from this forum are 'friends' of Derek Dick rather than 'Fish', and we can indeed post on his personal page. Not that I do it often, but I could if I wished to.

Have you tried submitting a friend request? He is now up to nearly 900 friends, so despite wishing, initially, to keep it small he appears to be welcoming many fans as friends too. Maybe worth a try?

There are two accounts for Fish on FB.
Derek Dick where only some guys can post.
Fish where everone who used the Like button for this account can post to.

Fish posts to both accounts.

Why would he reject your request Sharon? The only person I know of that has been rejected is my wife - and that was before Fish/Derek explained his "one per household" policy. Seems to have been relaxed for Rich though....
