This might sound a bit strict (sorry! ) but please consider that Fish reads through for questions to answer and has to trawl through chatter to find them! Also, members have taken the time to add a question only to see it disappear into the distance. Please be considerate!

Apologies for the editing in this thread, I've been gathering the questions together and didn't want anyone to think that they couldn't ask something because it's already here!
Just to clarify, questions should be sent to me by email. After the convention we can continue this thread in the same way as before.

You draw on many things as inspiration when you're writing but is there anything that you'd consider taboo and not use?

If I recall correctly, Fish said that he doesn't necessarily consider things taboo, but the song structure means that trickier subjects could be misinterpreted. As such, that's saved for the book
