Been there regularly, hence my input...... Will be there again next weekend... There are not a lot of venues who are likely to be either big enough, or give us exclusivity or be free.....

We fell lucky with the Sausage due to connections with Fish, and a genuine wish to help us out!

Couldn't we use the power of numbers as a bit of persuation, after all getting an extra 600-700 bodies on a friday night,must count for something, especially if there is a chance of them going elsewhwere and thus meaning losing out on a lot of revenue ? Would any venue or pub be willing to do that, instead of getting on over on one of its rivals?
Not that i am in to blackmail or anything, but just a matter of leverage in our favour considering the amount of money we are all going to spending probably in lemmers over the weekend, don't think it would be asking too much!

I won't be there Friday night, though to be honest, I don't see why everyone needs to be in the same pub at the same time. - What's wrong with everyone being spread over couple of pubs, as in Edinburgh, and then moving on to the other? I kind of get bored staying in the one place anyway.

Is it not a better way of meeting up with people if you are all in the same place, than having to go round looking for a certain pub to see if you can find your friends or people you may want to meet.
