Gavin back with Mostly Autumn

Postby kalyr on Tue Mar 03, 2009 8:05 pm

Not announced on the official website (yet), but Gavin was back behind the drums (and kicking some serious arse) with Mostly Autumn this weekend, and will be with them for the April/May tour.

With his work with Panic Room as well (2nd album due this year), he's certainly keeping himself busy during Fish's sabbatical.

I spoke with Gavin at The Peel, and he mentioned he was going to work with Mostly during the spring... "I'm a drummer, I need the work".....

can't blame him... take the work whilst you can and one thing you can say about Gavin whoever he plays for, he gives it 150%.. looking forward to seeing him at Stocksbridge next week.....

What a cracking venue. First time I have been to the Duchess in York. Will be visiting again soon though. Thunder drummer Harry James filled in for Breathing Space and was followed behind the skins by Gavin with M.A. who gave it everything as usual on a great evening of music in memory of Howard Sparnenn, Olivia's father..
Over 5 hours of music for 12 quid and all for charity too. (7pm to 12.20)
Anne Marie Helder spent part of the evening in the crowd taking various photos of the action on stage before she guested with Breathing Space and then took her place with MA.
Would love to see Fish play The Duchess and I think the fans would enjoy the venue too.
